Undivided Family (HUF) Income

Undivided Family (HUF) Income – The income of a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) is assessed separately under the Income Tax Act. HUF income includes earnings from ancestral or self-acquired property and other sources, and it is taxed in the name of the HUF, distinct from individual members’ income.

Example: Rental income of ₹2 lakh from a property owned by the HUF is taxed in the hands of the HUF
