Gift Deed

Gift Deed – It serves as valid proof of the gift and ensures the transaction is legally recognized under the Transfer of Property Act, 1882. For immovable property, it must also be registered with the Sub-Registrar’s Office under the Registration Act, 1908.

Example: A father transfers ownership of a residential flat to his daughter without any payment through a registered gift deed
