Form 49B – An application form used by entities (deductors) to obtain a Tax Deduction and Collection Account Number (TAN), which is required for deducting or collecting tax at source under the Income Tax Act.

Example: A company applies for TAN by submitting Form 49B before deducting TDS from employee salaries
