Tax Glossary Definition
Demand Schedule – A demand schedule is a table that lists the quantities of a product or service that consumers are both willing and able to purchase at different price levels over a given period, while keeping all other factors constant.
Example: A demand schedule for tea might indicate that consumers purchase 100 cups when the price is ₹10 each and 150 cups when the price falls to ₹8 each, demonstrating the inverse relationship between price and quantity demanded.
