Deduction under Section 80G – This deduction is allowed for donations made to specified charitable institutions or funds approved by the government. The purpose is to encourage charitable giving and support social causes.

Example: Donation to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund: 50% of the donated amount is eligible for deduction. If ₹10,000 is donated, deduction allowed = ₹5,000
