Contribution to Provident Fund

Contributions made to a recognized Provident Fund (PF), whether by the employee or the employer. These contributions help individuals save for retirement while providing immediate tax benefits.

Example: Both the employee and employer contribute 12% of the employee’s salary to the PF, and the employee’s contribution is eligible for deduction under Section 80C.
