Angel Investor

Angel Investor – An individual who invests in start-ups or early-stage businesses, often providing both capital and mentorship. Under Section 54GB of the Income Tax Act, such investors may receive tax benefits on capital gains if the gains are reinvested in eligible start-ups and specified conditions are met.

Example: ₹10 lakh invested in a start-up → capital gains exemption available if all conditions under Section 54GB are satisfied
