Guide to Download Capital Gain Statement from SBI Securities
Introduction
Capital gains are profits one earns from the sale of assets such as stocks, mutual funds and real estate. The gains will be classified as short term or long term based on how long they have been held.
Instead of manually entering the details you can simply upload a “Capital Gains Statement” that is a consolidation of your investment performance, capital gains and income on SBI Securities for the current and last financial years.
This guide covers the step by step procedure to fetch this gain statement from the SBI Securities website.
Step 1 : Login to your SBI Securities Demat Account
● Click on the following link https://trade.sbisecurities.in/
● Enter the Login Credentials.
Step 2 : Navigate to the Profit and Loss Report Section
- Click on Historical report
- Then click on Profit & Loss option
Step 3 : Download the Profit and Loss Report
- Select the relevant financial year
- Choose the asset type as “Equity”.
- Note: You should download report for each asset type If you have invested in “Future and Options” & “Equity”, you should first download the report for one asset and then repeat the same process for other asset.
- Choose “With Charges” and select the Product type as “All” and opt for a detailed report
- Once the report is generated, click on the excel icon to download the report in excel format.
